It was a GREAT day to sail – AGAIN!
Those that came out had a very fine day to close out the sailing season and should be applauded for their efforts. Really another fine day of fall sailing on the Bay that is why we all come back for more. The evening ended on a quiet note as the wind calmed and everyone enjoyed the evening as it drifted into a reflection of the season that is slipping away. Certainly there are thoughts of getting ready for next year, however there may also be thoughts of – will this sailing season end??? It has been very warm so far and very hard to leave the boat at the end of the weekend. There was a slight nip in the air however Friday night when the front went through and Saturday night as the sun went down. It is that time of year to re-group and get ready for the next sailing season!
